Biography

Chris Letchford began playing guitar at age 13, after starting the saxophone at age 8 and playing bass in between. He attended both Berklee College of Music and Musicians Institute, during which time he formed his instrumental progressive metal band Scale the Summit with fellow guitarist Travis LeVrier. The band has toured with Dream Theater, Cynic, Yes, Devin Townsend, and Periphery, among others. Letchford has been featured in numerous guitar publications, including Guitar World, Premier Guitar, and Total Guitar.
